Hi. Great question. I think if we have too much of anything it can be bad for us. Exercise is great, but I guess if we exerted ourselves too much we could end up dehydrated and collapse from exhaustion. This can even happen to the most fit athletes in the world too.
Great question and I have literally just recorded a podcast about this very subject ….its not online yet but if you look at https://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/ssehs/experts-in-sport/ it will be up next week.
If you train too hard or too long then it will compromise your immune function …which is bad.
You will also increase your risk of injury.
So my message would be …train smarter NOT harder 🙂
