      My stem cell research was looking at how stem cells maintained their stem cell identity under low oxygen conditions, and also comparing that to cancer stem cells. Unfortunately I have left the lab now so I don’t have any more research to do 🙁

      But a typical day involved keeping my stem cells alive and happy which involved giving them their food each day – food that was a pink liquid we call media. Other than that I would collect samples of stem cells and measure differences in the amount of genes and proteins I was interested in under the different conditions I grew my cells in and perform experiments on them then.
